You might remember Mission Bay Bob, a right-leaning baby boomer who was killed off as a possible character in my postings, but boy do I regret silencing this fool for the sake of literary progression.
As it happens Bob has made a comeback, via the vessel of his wife’s body, just in time for the 2023 Electoral Process.
Barb is back and possessed on the night of nights: she sits staring at John Campbell, in his plush-haired glory. She hates John Campbell, that leftie woke bastion of the weak Labour regime. Yet still she watches. She also tries to reconcile words like weak and regime on her iPad, to no avail.
Meanwhile, Bob erupts from Barb’s body. There’s a moment like in the movies where both Bob and Barb’s experiences collide and then separate, especially for Bob who has a weird back-brain memory of his former workmates when he was employed at Ellerslie Sail and Hull Construction during the halcyon days of the 1980s, before Health and Safety or Tay Rayo were even a “roadblock”.
But for now, Bob and Barb are reunited.
This election will give them power over things.
Love it!!!!
